Parent and Toddler Group: Due to building work at Garradh Cholm Cille this week, there will be no Parent and Toddler Group this Thursday 26th January. The building work involves putting in a suspended ceiling. This will greatly improve the heating and acoustic performance of the main room at Garradh Cholm Cille. Thank you to APEX and the National Local Youth Club Grant Scheme 2022 for assistance towards funding of this work.

Healthy Food made easy Course

Free 6 week Healthy Food Made Easy course starting on Tuesday 14th February 11am-1.30pm at Garradh Cholm Cille Centre. You’ll receive a free healthy food made easy recipe book. Each week you will learn how to make different recipes from the book such as tasty breads, soups, casseroles and curries and lots of tips for healthy eating. School Art Competition in memory of Manus McClafferty.

7th and final school to take part will be Scoil Cholm Cille in Tory. Presentation will take place in Tory on 24th February. Thank you to Special Days for their support for this art competition.


To celebrate Chinese New Year, ARTSPACE-Pobail le Chéile sought art submissions from budding artists of all ages in the Gaeltacht. All the artwork received is of a high standard and they will be displayed at Pobail Le Chéile. Thank you to Eve Li for organising this exhibition.

WPEP: Pobail Le Chéile is delighted to welcome Ellen Bennet on a WPEP (Work Placement Experience Programme) scheme with Siopa Pobail. Ellen will be assisting with online sales (Thriftify and Marketplace) and marketing of Siopa Pobail on social media as well as helping out in the shop.

The Donegal Parent and Family Support Service can help through a listening ear, one-to-one support and a drop-in clinic at Garradh Cholm Cille on Wednesdays to offer support on issues that are affecting home life.
